I'm not quite sure why I'm making this journal. Guess I gotta get these thoughts out there somehow, right? I might just end up deleting this later when I feel stupid about it, BUT OH WELL~

Background info first!
First of all, I really never thought I'd ever create a Hetalia OC, but I guess I kinda did?
It started when I found this picture online. At first I kinda just ignored Northern and Southern Ireland and enjoyed the pretty picture of Scotland harassing England.
Then I drew a picture on tegaki that kinda fleshed out my headcannon of baby England running to Ireland after Scotland was mean to him (all the time). In this picture, I pretty much went by the design from the zerochan pic, except that I added freckles (how can you be Irish and not have freckles, right? <3).

Theeeen, surprised me by forcing (bad word choice, I know) me to bring him into our tegaki rp, and things pretty much snowballed from there design wise.

Now, in our rp, we use their human names, so we had to come up with one for Ireland. After a few hours of browsing internet baby name databases, I found the name "Liam" on some website. Apparently the name means "unwavering protector" which fit perfectly with my head cannon.

Sooo the name kinda stuck.

And this is where it gets weird.
The whole Ireland OC fanbase must have a secret psychic link going on, because I've stumbled upon at least FOUR different Ireland OCs whose name is "Liam" (and I think this is extra special, since most of the Ireland ocs I find are female), but there's little to no chance that we've all seen each other's take on the character.


It must be cannon or something @n@
